We spent the weekend at the newly-opened Daluyon Resort (www.daluyonresort.com) in Sabang, home of the Underground River (a UNESCO Heritage site). It's such a beautiful place! Anyone who wishes to see the best of what Palawan can offer should go there. But let me warn you, a night at this paradise doesn't come cheap.

It opened three months ago but it already has a growing reputation and the resort is always fully booked. This isn't any wonder since the rooms are large and equipped with the best amenities (17" flat screen tv, air condition, king sized beds with goose-down pillows & covers, beautiful bathrooms) -- undeniably luxurious! And the food, man, don't get me started! The restaurant serves gourmet (just see the menu) which are so scrumptious the whole family will surely enjoy it.

You can see from the pictures that we all had a good time. I can't wait to go back with Ivan and Macky and have another opportunity to relax and just do nothing amidst breathtaking surroundings. I can't wait to swim in the beautiful beach with its powder-fine sand or wait for the moon to rise behind the limestone cliffs while enjoying cocktails with Ivan. Truly, this is the life!
